Peter Harris (born 1934) has a stake worth £360m in Hemel Hempstead-based Bourne Leisure, which he founded in 1964 and is still chairman. The Sunday Times Rich List estimates that his worth is £400m which places him at 200th on the 2011 Rich List[1][2].
He remains very active within his businesses, though his son-in-law Walter Swinburn now runs his racing stables at Tring, Hertfordshire.[3]
